RE: Getting Back in Touch
I Also had traveled to the Verendreye Park with the "Red Crew" in the summer of 99' for my senior trip. Like Mark had said the weather was terrible but it just added to the challenge that the senior trip should bring. I will cherish the memories that I have from those 17 days forever. I still today remember every word to our trip song that we wrote to the tune of Harry Chapins Cats in the Cradle. Every time I hear that song it brings back memories of the wilderness and camp. Like the previous message school has gotten in my way of doing similar trips to those that I enjoyed while at Keewaydin. If anyone reads this and they were a member of either Verendreye trips in 99' red or blue crew feel free to contact me, I would like to know what my fellow trippers are now up to.
