It only seems like yesterday that I was cooking up a storm in the Keewaydin kitchen preparing for the 1993 100th year celebration! What a festival of food that was! Now, ten years later I dream of living the summer in a platform canvas tent, diving off the Wabegon, canoeing past Washerwoman's Bay and spending hours in front of the fire in the lodge.
I have missed this year's reunion but hope to make my presence known as a guest at Ojibway in 2004 (honeymoon). Missing the cry of the loons.... |
